Homeless Shelter

Many people struggle to keep food on the table and a roof over there head. Here in St. Louis there are a number of homeless shelters that provide assistance to those who need it. They help them to find work, temporary housing and can provide them a lift to a night shelter. All of this is free of charge to anyone who is homeless.

This shelter service is run by an order of nuns. The quilt represents these nuns.
Each person who needs assistance is allowed accesses to a washer and dryer. They also have a book shelf full of many different books for people to read while at the shelter.

Since most who use the shelter have children there is an entire room dedicated to keeping those little ones entertained. In this room there are toys and books for the children to use.
